School Uniform

Community is one of our school values, it is wonderful to see all of our pupils in school uniform.

Uniform

• Royal Blue sweatshirt or cardigan.
• Black or grey trousers or skirt.
• Light blue polo shirt.

In summer girls can wear a blue summer dress and boys can wear grey shorts.

Children should wear sensible black shoes, not trainers.

Uniform sweatshirts and polo shirts with the school logo are available to buy from the school’s uniform supplier (see below).

Jewellery

Children should not wear any jewellery to school, for reasons of Health and Safety; this is in line with the “LA Code of Practice on Jewellery in Schools.” Watches and wrist fitness devices may be worn, but must be removed for PE, and the safety of items are the responsibility of the child.

PE Kit

PE kit consists of dark shorts and royal blue t-shirt. For outdoor PE, children are also allowed to wear dark jogging bottoms and royal blue t-shirt, a West Park hoodie or their sweatshirt. Children may wear trainers for outdoor PE but black plimsolls (white/brown soles) for indoor PE. Children should keep their PE kit in a draw string bag suitable for our small cloakrooms.

Uniform Supplier

Your uniform can be purchased from any local supermarket or other store of your choice, there is no requirement that uniform shows our school badge. If you do wish to order items with the school logo these can be ordered online through our supplier “Charles Dickens”.

Second-hand uniform, with our school logo, is available. Please contact Mrs Kerridge, our Parent Support Worker.

Lost Property

All uniform items (and coats) should be clearly labelled with your child’s name or initials for ease of return should items be mislaid.

Unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to children’s clothes or property.

If your child has lost or misplaced any item, as a first step, please raise this with any member of staff via Class Dojo. A chest, containing lost property, can be found in the main entrance of the school. This can be accessed at any time by parents and carers. We will always do our best to locate missing items.
