Keeping Up to Date with School Life
There is always something to celebrate at West Park. Throughout the week, children take part in a wide range of learning experiences, events, activities and opportunities, and we enjoy sharing these moments with our families.
We use Facebook to celebrate:
- pupil achievements and successes;
- classroom learning and special activities;
- school trips, performances and sporting events;
- weekly celebrations; and
- important whole-school news and reminders.

Weekly Newsletter
Our weekly school newsletter will be shared through Arbor and Facebook every Friday afternoon. It will include:
- highlights and celebrations from the week;
- important messages and reminders;
- upcoming dates and events;
- parent safeguarding updates and information
- information on local events in the community; and
- news from across the school.
Using Arbor
Arbor is our main communication platform for important school information. Through the Arbor Parent App, families can:
- receive school messages and notifications;
- email staff;
- access important dates and reminders via the calendar;
- provide consent for trips and activities;
- make payments;
- book places for events and clubs; and
- contact school to arrange an appointment.

Questions About Dates or Events
Details of parent meetings, performances, school trips, workshops and other events will be shared through Arbor. Where booking or parental consent is required, this will also be completed through the app.
